1. Introduction and Acceptance
uniz.host (the "Platform") is a game-server hosting service operated by CODECRAFTCLOUD CO., LTD. (the "Company", "we" or "us"), registration number 0735567008973, with its office at 61/11 Moo 5, Sampathuan Subdistrict, Nakhon Chai Si District, Nakhon Pathom 73120, Thailand. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you (the "User" or "you") and the Company about your use of the Platform.
You top up credits to your account in advance (฿1 = 1 credit) and pay for a server by the hour, only while it is running. Within each 24-hour round and each 1-month round, what one server costs never goes above that round's cap (see Section 6). We provide the infrastructure for hosting servers only: we do not sell or license any game, mod or plugin, and we are not affiliated with any game developer or publisher.
By signing in, creating or managing a server, or topping up credits, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, please stop using the Platform.
2. Definitions
- "Platform" means the uniz.host website, the dashboard and every related hosting service.
- "User" means anyone who uses the Platform, including Server Owners and Team Members.
- "Server Owner" means the User who created a server and pays for it from their own credits.
- "Team Member" means a User whom a Server Owner has invited to help manage a server, within the permissions granted.
- "Server" means one game server created and run on the Platform.
- "Credits" means the prepaid balance in an account, worth ฿1 = 1 credit, used to pay for services on the Platform.
- "Promotional Credit" means credit received without payment, for example from a coupon code, a referral reward or a grant from our team.
- "Server Data" means the worlds, files, settings, mods, plugins, backups and any other data you upload to or that is created on a server.
3. Accounts and Eligibility
You need an account to use the Platform, and an account can only be created by signing in with Google. By creating one, you confirm that:
- You are at least 20 years old, the age of majority under Thai law. If you are younger, you must have the consent of a parent or guardian before you use the Platform, top up credits or accept these Terms.
- The information you give us is accurate and current.
- You keep your Google account and your Platform account secure, and you are responsible for everything done under your account.
- You will not create more than one account to get around limits, billing or a suspension, or to receive Promotional Credit again.
- You will not transfer your account to anyone else without our written consent.
If someone uses your account without your permission, tell us at once at [email protected].
4. The Hosting Service
With enough credits, you can create and run servers for the games the Platform supports. The service includes:
- Supported games: the games on offer are listed on the Platform and may change (see Section 16).
- Management tools: a console, an event log, a file manager, server settings, installing mods or plugins, backups and scheduled tasks, as each game supports them.
- Server addresses: a uniz.host subdomain, and your own domain if you want one, so players can connect.
- Features differ by game: some features, such as auto-sleep, player management or cross-platform play, exist for some games only. A server's page shows what its game supports.
- Resizing: you can change a server's RAM among the sizes on offer. This may need a restart, and the hourly price changes with the new size.
- Scope: we provide infrastructure only. You must hold the rights to the game and to every piece of software you run on your server (see Section 15).
- Outside sources: mods and packs installed through the Platform may be downloaded from other providers, such as CurseForge, which have their own terms and licences.
5. Credits and Top-Ups
Services on the Platform are paid for with prepaid credits, on these terms:
- Value: ฿1 = 1 credit, usable only to pay for services on the Platform.
- Topping up: you can top up at any time through our payment processor (see Section 8), at least ฿20 each time. The minimum and the ways to pay may change.
- Nature of credits: credits are a prepaid balance for using the service. They are not a deposit, earn no interest, cannot be moved to another account and cannot be exchanged for cash, except for a refund under Section 9.
- Promotional Credit: credit from coupon codes, referral rewards or grants from our team is not money. It cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash and is never refunded. The terms of each promotion may change or end.
- Paid top-ups: in these Terms, "top up" means a top-up paid with real money; Promotional Credit does not count. Uploading a world backup or files to a server requires the Server Owner to have topped up at least ฿20 in total.
- Low-balance notice: when your balance will last less than 24 hours at the rate your servers are using it, or when it is negative, we will try to tell you by e-mail and in the dashboard. Keeping enough balance is your responsibility; we do not guarantee that a notice reaches you, or reaches you in time.
- History: your dashboard shows your balance, your top-ups and how your credits were used.
6. How Servers Are Billed
A server is paid for from its Server Owner's credits, as follows:
- Hourly price: each server has an hourly price set by its RAM size and the hardware class chosen. The price and the caps of each size are shown on the pricing page and when you create a server.
- When a server is billed: for the actual time it is running, and only then. A server is not billed while it is starting up, asleep, stopped or archived.
- Caps per round: within each 24-hour round, what one server costs never goes above the 24-hour round cap of its size, and within each 1-month round it never goes above the 1-month round cap of its size. Once a cap is reached, the server can keep running at no extra cost until the next round begins. Caps apply to each server separately, and use the caps of the hardware class the server is on at the time.
- How rounds are counted: a round starts when the server starts being billed. A 24-hour round lasts 24 hours. A 1-month round ends on the same date and at the same time in the next month, Thailand time (or on the last day of that month if it has no such date). A 1-month round is therefore not a calendar month: a round that starts mid-month spans two calendar months. When you stop a server, or it stops on a schedule you set, by auto-sleep, or because your credits ran out, both its 24-hour round and its 1-month round end at once, and its next start begins new rounds. Neither a restart nor a stop made for a reason on our side, such as a fault, maintenance or a start that did not finish in time, ends a round. If a round ends while the server is running, the next round starts at once; a server that is off when its round ends starts a new round the next time it is billed.
- Monthly plan: a server on the monthly plan is billed by exactly the same hourly meter and the same caps per round. It is not a fixed price. It differs in that auto-sleep is kept off, so the server stays on and what it costs in each 1-month round does not go above the 1-month round cap, and in that it is placed ahead of hourly servers when the Platform is short of capacity.
- Waiting for capacity: if the Platform does not have enough resources free at that moment, a server may have to wait before it starts. We do not guarantee how long the wait is. The server starts by itself when resources free up, and it is not billed while it waits.
- Storage: included in the price, with no separate storage charge. Each server has a storage limit set by its game and its disk size, shown on the server's page. The dashboard warns you when a server is nearly full; when it is full, the game may be unable to write its data.
- Running out of credits: when your balance reaches zero or below, the Platform stops your servers that are being billed, and you cannot create or start a server until you top up. A server stopped because credits ran out counts as a stopped server under Section 7.
- Negative balance: billing is settled at intervals, so a balance can go slightly below zero before a server is stopped. A negative amount is taken from your next top-up.
7. Auto-Sleep, Archiving and Deletion
Servers and Server Data go through the following stages:
- Auto-sleep: off by default. You can turn it on in a server's settings if its game supports it. Once on, the server sleeps after no one has played for the time you set and wakes by itself when a player joins; it is not billed while asleep. Without auto-sleep, a server is billed until you stop it yourself.
- To keep storage available for people who are still using the Platform, a server that has been stopped for more than 7 days (or 1 day, for an account that has never topped up) is moved to the archive. You can restore it free of charge. If it is not restored within 90 days of being archived (or 30 days, for an account that has never topped up), that server's data, meaning its worlds, files and backups, is deleted permanently and cannot be recovered. Your account and your remaining credit are not affected. Restoring or starting the server starts the count again. We will send a warning to the e-mail address of your account before the deletion.
- For the clause above, a server that is asleep or was stopped because credits ran out counts as stopped, and "top up" means paid top-ups of at least ฿20 in total, as defined in Section 5.
- When a server is archived, its automatic backups are replaced by the archive copy; backups you made or uploaded yourself stay until the deletion deadline above.
- For a server archived before these Terms took effect, the 90 days (or 30 days) count from the date these Terms took effect.
- Restoring: the server comes back with its original Server Data, except the automatic backups that the archive copy replaced when it was archived. This may take a while, depending on how much data there is.
- Deleting a server: when you delete a server yourself, all of its Server Data, including its backups and its archive, is deleted at once and cannot be recovered.
- File manager trash: files deleted in the file manager stay in the trash for 7 days before they are deleted permanently.
- Backups: automatic backups are off by default; you choose whether to turn them on and how many to keep. The number of backups per server is limited per game.
- Your own copies: we take reasonable care of Server Data, but we do not guarantee that no data loss can ever happen. Keep your own copies of anything that matters.
8. Payments, Currency and Tax
Top-ups work as follows:
- Payment processor: top-ups are processed by Stripe, by card or PromptPay, and you agree to Stripe's terms as well. We do not store or process your card number or bank details.
- Currency: top-ups, balances and charges are all in Thai baht.
- Tax: the Company is not registered for VAT. Prices shown are final. We issue a receipt on request at [email protected]; we do not issue tax invoices.
- Price changes: we will announce a price change at least 7 days in advance, on the website or our announcement channels. A new price applies only to use after the date it takes effect.
9. Refunds and Payment Disputes
Credits pay for a service billed on actual use, so refunds work as follows:
- When we refund: only for a system error, a duplicate charge, unauthorised use of your payment method, or where the law requires a refund.
- Credits already used: credits already charged for the service are not refunded, because the service has been delivered.
- Promotional Credit: never refunded.
- How to ask: e-mail [email protected] with the transaction reference and a description of the problem.
- Chargebacks: if you ask your bank to reverse a top-up, we may suspend your account and servers while we look into it. Reversing a top-up whose credits have been used, or filing a false dispute, is abuse and may lead to your account being closed. Please contact us first.
10. Sharing a Server with a Team
A Server Owner can invite other Users as Team Members, on these terms:
- Invitations and permissions: the Server Owner decides each member's permissions, such as starting and stopping the server, the console and file management.
- The owner's responsibility: the Server Owner is responsible for the whole server, including the charges taken from their credits and what members do within the permissions granted.
- Members' conduct: Team Members must follow these Terms. A breach by a member can affect the server and the owner's account.
- Removing access: the Server Owner can withdraw a member's permissions or remove a member at any time.
11. The AI Assistant
The Platform includes an AI assistant that checks and manages your servers at your request, on these terms:
- What it can read, for example: a server's details and state, console logs, files, settings, mods, player lists, backups, scheduled tasks, the public page, team members and usage figures.
- What it can do, for example: edit, create, move or delete files; install, remove or turn off mods and modpacks; change settings and the game version; start, stop or restart a server; change the server's address and domains; turn its share link on or off; edit its public page; set scheduled tasks; add a server to or remove it from a Minecraft Network; and manage ports. This list is not exhaustive.
- Approval: some actions, such as deleting a file, closing a port, starting, stopping or restarting a server, and changing the game version, always need you to approve them. Other actions, such as editing a file or installing or removing a mod, follow the mode you choose: ask for approval every time, or act by itself.
- Answers can be wrong: the assistant runs on language models, and its answers and actions may be incorrect or incomplete. Check them before you approve or rely on them.
- Responsibility: what the assistant does on your instruction or approval, or by itself in automatic mode, counts as your action, together with what follows from it, such as a mod removed or a file changed, and any charges incurred.
- Cost: the assistant has a free daily allowance. Beyond it, the assistant charges credits for what the chosen model actually uses only if you have turned that on, and you can turn it off at any time.
- Data: what you type and what the assistant reads are sent to a language-model provider to be processed. The Privacy Policy gives the details.
12. Outside AI Apps and Cloudflare Tunnel
You can connect outside services to your servers, on these terms:
- Outside AI apps: you can allow another provider's AI app to reach the servers you choose. The app can read and manage those servers within the scope shown on the consent screen, such as reading logs and files, starting or stopping a server and changing settings. The permission lasts until you revoke it, which you can do at any time in the dashboard.
- What an outside app does, and the data it receives, are your responsibility and fall under that app provider's terms, including the charges that follow when the app starts a server.
- Temporary links: the owner of a server can create temporary https links to the server's web pages (its extra TCP ports), at most 3 per account, free of charge. Links run on Cloudflare's trycloudflare.com service, which Cloudflare provides for testing, so there is no guarantee that a link stays reachable, and the number of simultaneous visitors is limited. A link changes when the server sleeps and wakes or is stopped and started again, and it may change at other times too.
- Anyone who has a link can open it. You are responsible for what your web page shows. We may limit or remove this feature.
13. Public Server Pages
You can give a server a public page so players can find and join it, on these terms:
- Off by default: a public page appears only once you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time.
- What becomes public: once it is on, anyone can see the server's name, address, game and version, whether it is online, player counts and their history, the description, tags, images, rules, the Discord link, any other parts you choose to show, and its votes. The page may appear in the Platform's server directory and in search engine results.
- Your content: you are responsible for the text, images and links you put on a public page.
- Votes: visitors can vote for a server. Inflating votes by any means is prohibited.
- Moderation: visitors can report a page, and we may hide a page that breaches these Terms.
14. Acceptable Use
You are responsible for the content, mods, plugins, settings and player behaviour on your server. You agree not to:
- host, distribute or transmit unlawful content, including content that infringes intellectual property or that exploits or endangers children;
- run pirated software, serve cracked game clients, or get around a game's authentication against its owner's terms;
- use the Platform to attack any network or server (such as DDoS), scan ports, send spam, or do anything harmful to our systems or anyone else's;
- access, disrupt or damage another User's servers, account or data without permission;
- install a backdoor, a plugin that secretly grants rights, or any mechanism that gives someone operator rights without the Server Owner's knowledge;
- use resources for anything other than hosting a game server, such as cryptocurrency mining, running a proxy or VPN, botnets, bulk computation, or storing files unrelated to the game;
- resell or rent out the service or servers on the Platform to others without our written consent;
- try to gain unauthorised access, get around the isolation between servers, or interfere with the Platform's infrastructure;
- use the Platform or a server to harass, threaten, impersonate or harm others;
- get around billing, resource limits, promotion limits or an account suspension;
- upload or distribute viruses, malware or other harmful code.
Turning off online mode on a Minecraft server is allowed as the Platform offers it; you bear the risk and are responsible for complying with the game owner's terms.
A breach of this section may lead to the actions in Section 17.
15. Your Content and Intellectual Property
Ownership of and responsibility for the content on your server are as follows:
- Ownership: the Server Data you upload or create is yours. We claim no ownership of it.
- The rights we need to provide the service: you allow the Company to host, store, back up, archive and transmit your data, only as far as is technically needed to provide the service to you.
- Third-party software: you must follow the licence of every piece of software you run, including each game's end-user licence agreement (EULA), the terms of the game's developer or publisher, and the licence of each mod, plugin and add-on.
- Your players' data: your server may record players' names, IP addresses and activity. You are responsible for the player data your server collects; we process it only to run your server for you.
16. Availability and Changes to the Service
We work to keep the service running reliably, but you accept that:
- No service level: the Platform is provided as is and as available, with no guarantee of uptime or a service level (SLA) unless agreed in writing.
- Maintenance: we may carry out planned or emergency maintenance, which can make servers unavailable for a time. We will try to give notice in advance where we can.
- Capacity: the resources available depend on the Platform's capacity at the time (see waiting for capacity in Section 6).
- Outside providers: parts of the service rely on other providers, such as networking, the payment processor, DNS and the database, which are outside our direct control.
- Changes to the service: we may add, change or withdraw features, games, server sizes or hardware classes. Changes to these Terms follow Section 22.
17. Reports, Suspension and Bans
Users and others can report content or behaviour that breaches these Terms to [email protected], or with the report button on a public page. When we receive a report or find a breach, we will look into it and may:
- remove or hide the content, mods, public page or server concerned;
- warn the User concerned;
- stop a server, or suspend an account for a time;
- ban an account permanently;
- refer the matter to the authorities where the law may have been broken.
While an account is suspended or banned, its User cannot use the Platform or its servers. While an account is temporarily suspended, the deletion periods in Section 7 are paused. For a permanently banned account, its stopped servers remain subject to the archiving and deletion rules in Section 7. In serious cases, or where safety is at risk, we may act at once without notice.
If you believe we got it wrong, you can ask us to review the decision by e-mail at [email protected].
18. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, the Company gives no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that the service fits a particular purpose of yours.
To the extent the law allows, the Company is not liable for indirect, special or consequential loss, including loss of data, loss of income or interruption of the service, nor for the behaviour, content or disputes of players or Team Members on your server.
The Company's total liability to you for all claims about these Terms or your use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid the Company in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
The limits in this section do not apply to liability that the law does not allow to be limited or excluded, including loss caused by the Company's wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
19. Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, you agree to compensate the Company, its directors, employees and agents for claims, losses and reasonable costs (including lawyers' fees) arising from (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) the content, Server Data, mods, plugins or software you run, including any breach of another person's licence or intellectual property; (c) what Team Members or players do on your server; or (d) your fraud.
20. Closing an Account and Termination
You can ask to close your account at any time, on these terms:
- How to ask: e-mail [email protected] from the e-mail address of your account. There is no delete-account button in the dashboard yet. We will delete the account within 30 days of receiving the request.
- What is deleted: your account, your servers, their Server Data and your conversations with the AI assistant. Billing records are the exception: Thai tax law requires us to keep them for at least 5 years. E-mails with us and the log of our team's actions are kept for the periods set out in the Privacy Policy.
- Remaining credit: credit left when the account is closed is not paid out, except for a refund under Section 9.
- No deletion for inactivity: an account is never deleted for not being used, however long. Only Server Data follows the archiving and deletion rules in Section 7.
We may suspend or end your account, your servers or your access to the Platform if:
- you breach these Terms, the acceptable-use rules or the law;
- there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, abuse of the service or unlawful activity, including an abusive chargeback;
- your balance is negative and remains unpaid;
- the law, a court order or an order of a public authority requires it.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination continue to apply, including Sections 9, 18, 19 and 21.
21. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and interpreted under Thai law. Any dispute arising from or about these Terms or your use of the Platform falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Nakhon Pathom Province.
Before going to court, both sides agree to try to settle a dispute in good faith, starting with a message to [email protected]. If it cannot be settled within 30 days, either side may take legal action.
These Terms exist in Thai and in English. If the two texts differ, the Thai text prevails.
If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest remains in force. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and the Company about the use of the Platform.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may change these Terms. We will announce a revised version at least 7 days before it takes effect, on the website or our announcement channels, such as Discord, and the revised version shows its effective date at the top of this page. We do not promise to announce changes by e-mail or in the dashboard, so please check this page from time to time.
If you keep using the Platform after the effective date, you accept the revised Terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the Platform and ask to close your account under Section 20.
For a new user who signs up after this version of the Terms is published, it applies from their first use of the Platform. For existing users, it applies from the effective date shown at the top of this page.
