Why run Core Keeper on uniz.host
- Set up your world your wayPick a world seed and a difficulty mode when the world is first created, and tune the season to run any in-game event whenever your crew wants it.
- Stop it yourself, stay in controlThis game has no way to detect an empty server, so it never auto-sleeps — once started, it bills continuously until you stop it. If you forget, it is never more than ฿7 per 24-hour round.
- Lightest server on the platformA 2D pixel-art world means the smallest RAM footprint we offer — a bigger budget goes further here than on any other game.
- Invite friends to help run itFine-grained team permissions: who can restart, who can view the console — you decide.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a Core Keeper server cost?
Billed hourly by RAM size, from ฿0.50 an hour at 2 GB, for every hour the server is online, and never more than ฿7 per 24-hour round or ฿149 per 1-month round. Within each round, the system picks the cheaper one for you. That caps what a forgotten server can cost. Core Keeper has no auto-sleep, unlike the other games we host — remember to stop it yourself when you're done playing.
How much RAM do I need?
Core Keeper needs at least 2GB — the lightest requirement of any game we host. Go bigger for a longer-running world.
Can I change the world seed or difficulty later?
World name, world seed and difficulty mode are set once, the first time you save them, and lock permanently after — they define the world itself, so changing them later would start a brand-new one. Max players and the seasonal event override can be changed anytime.
How do friends join?
Copy the server address and password from the dashboard — friends pick Direct Connect in the game's own multiplayer menu, paste the address, and enter the password to join. No extra software needed.
Does this server auto-sleep when nobody's playing?
No — Core Keeper gives us no way to detect an empty server, so it doesn't auto-sleep like the other games we host. It keeps running, and billing, from the moment you start it. Stop it yourself from the dashboard when your session's over; if you forget, it is never more than ฿7 per 24-hour round.
